Thank you very much to @henrikbain for contributing to the first post in our new Topptur Diary.
With our Topptur Diary posts, we hope to create a community of fellow shredders here in Norway, sharing shots, info, tips and generally spreading the love for the Norwegian mountains.
In our first Topptur post, we chose to feature this awesome shot because of the cool cloud line and the effort that is being put in skinning up. It’s always so rewarding on a hike when you get above the clouds and find a flawless bluebird sky waiting. The rugged peaks poking through the clouds, make for an awesome view and help to make this a great shot. The shadows give great definition, and the elevation shows you’ve definitely earned your turns, we hope you had a sick line down…
Name: Henrik Bain
Mountain: Torskmannen, Lofoten (755moh)
Camera: Iphone 6
Inspiration: This is actually a photo of my sister. I took the shot because I wanted to capture the perfect moment with snow, mountains, sun, and wild nature.
Favourite shreds: All the mountains in Lofoten are my favourites, but especially Torskmannen and Store Kvittind, because they often hold good snow.
Shredding Bucket List: When it comes to my bucket list, nothing can beat Lofoten on a great day with fresh snow. When it’s clear weather and fresh snow, Lofoten is magical!
